When you double click on an email, it is opened in a separate window.  if the
mail is an invitation you can accept it by clicking on the [accept] link in the
mail window.  This removes the mail from teh inbox, but it doesn't close the
window which can lead to user clicking [accept] several times.  The window
should be closed when clicking on [accept]

there are reports that repeatedly clicking on [accept] in the separate window
can cause segfaults, but I haven't been able to reproduce that.
