I have made some test, if i stop kolab, run 
/kolab/etc/kolab/kolab_bootstrap -b, recreate the user with the same 
password. After, the users can see the old mail.

If you have of other solutions I can make ulterior tests in order to 
solve the "manager -> user" problem.
