Slow Loading in Roundcube

I was hoping that with Kolab 3.2 this issue will go away but I´m afraid 
it did not changed.
My mailaccount has about 150 folders (including subfolders) and when 
accessing any of this folder it takes 10-20 secs to display the 
messages. I experience this delay also in Thunderbird but there it is 
acceptable as Thunderbird caches a lot locally.

I have tried every steps from here [1] . The only option which helped a 
bit was 'check_all_folders' and installing a caching imap proxy.
I have moved this mail account from a dovecot imap server and the 
performance was great in roundcube.

As for using roundcube without tls..please advise how to do that.
Has anybody experienced this kind of issue because I´m afraid I´m out of 
ideas now.
