As a mail client (IMAP or POP3) it works perfectly, however if you wish to use
it as a POP3 client you must remember to enable Kolab's POP3 service in the
admin interface, as it is disabled by default.

Unfortunately the builds of Kontact that shipped with KDE 3.2.X (one of which
I assume Mandrake 10 comes with) has the groupware, i.e. Kolab integration,
functionality disabled. If you wish to use Kontact's groupware features
together with Kolab you're going to have to download, compile and install
Kontact from KDE CVS, as the HEAD branch of Kontact has all the groupware
features enabled.

Alternatively you can wait for KDE 3.3 which, as far as I understand, will
include a stable release of Kontact that includes all the Kolab groupware
integration work.

Regards,
