Here's confirmation that we switched to 3.4

While developing recently I'm using vobject-3.4. 3.5 may also work as it
contains only PHP7-compat. fixes (as I know).

I don't know about 4.0, but I see it requires PHP>=5.5, so it may not be
appropriate for some distros anyway. I also have no idea about
compatibility with Sabre/DAV 2.1 which we use in iRony.
