[Kolab-devel] [issue857] The "Check Mail in" button is unintuitive for Kolab

New submission from Bernhard Herzog <bh at intevation.de>:

When using kontact with kolab, the user has to frequently sync their local cache
with the server. This is done with the "Check Mail In" button in the toolbar of
the email component (or the equivalent menu item which likewise is only visible
in the email component). This is unintuitive, as checking mail usually only
means to retrieve mail.

Also, most users aren't aware that contacts and calendar entries are mail in
kolab so they would never guess that they have to "check mail" to update their
calendars. In addition, having to switch to the mail component to do they sync
even though you just want to sync your calendar changes to the server is a nuisance.

It would be much better to have a button that is visible in all toolbars that
syncs with the kolab server.
