migrating from 3.3 to 16

Hi All,

I have a very old install of 3.3 I have too many problems with the
server and its time to upgrade.

Can someone give me some pointers on how to migrate? most importantly I
need all the domains, accounts, passwords and emails, the rest I don't
mind to configure from fresh.

Also instead of imap-sync can I use rsync to sync all emails (about 200GB)
