Kolab 16 and newer version of php than 5.4

Hi,

I don't understand why Kolab keeps forcing a specific version of PHP.
Anyhow, I came across this website: https://ius.io/. I don't have any
experience with it, but it is sure worth your time to check if it can
fits your needs.
