kolab and syncml

ok, syncml is dead (just as many useful protocols/programs/system). 
activesnc is not an option at our site because of various sharing issues 
originated in it's design. caldav/carddav is not supported by all of our 
clients (we've got a bunch of older such clients which cannot be 
replaced easily) and/or the configuration is kind of cumbersome for the 
average user.

i know, we could teach our users ..
