For I have not found, especially on the latest version of Kolab ... I start to be a big FAN ...

as other said the recommended platform is Centos/RHEL 7. Other run
Ubuntu or Debian as well very successfull and stable. But community
contribution is needed to keep those distributions running. Kolab
Systems is maintaining the RPM Packages while the community has to keep
up with the Debian/Ubuntu packaging atm.

That's one of the reason why there's no manticore or guam packages out
yet for ubuntu and debian. Everything else is basically solid and should
work as intended.
