In general: contribute to Winterfell, by testing it, reporting bugs,
and perhaps even fixing bugs if you can.

If you feel like it, you could search the git repository for the
solution, and backport the change to Kolab 16.

I would wait for Kolab 16.1 which should be released in Q2, which will
change Kolab 16 from stable state to the state "recommended for
production". (see https://git.kolab.org/D122).
