Kolab Hanging after 24 hours and 389 directory server not starting

Hi 

I have installed kolab on a fresh debian jessie install and am having
issues with regard to the following 

1)after 24 hours it seems to hang , i thought this may be apache,
however, i have checked other web services such as webmin and they are
running ok. 

2) 389 directory server has the following issues, please see below for
systemctl output 
 dirsrv-admin.service                                                   
                                  loaded active exited    LSB: Start and
stop 389 Directory Admin Server
● dirsrv-snmp.service                                                 
                                     loaded failed failed    389
Directory Server SNMP Subagent.
● dirsrv at admin.service                                                
                                     loaded failed failed    389
Directory Server admin.
  dirsrv at mail.service                                                   
                                   loaded active running   389 Directory
Server mail. 

Ive tried to re-start dirsrv as below, but get the following error 
root at mail:~# service dirsrv restart
Failed to restart dirsrv.service: Unit dirsrv.service is masked.
root at mail:~# 

I would appreciate any help i can get with this as im stumpped.
