cyrus bus error

Good evening,

I have a big problem on a production server (debian wheezy) running kolab
3.1.

The server ran out of disk space, which I noticed too late.

Users got an error about diskspace when trying to send a message.
After a while the kolab, roundcube and mysql services crashed and did no
longer start.

I made some space available with apt-get clean.

Now almost all services start again but I cant connect to the server.

When I run kolab -lm I get:

pykolab.imap WARNING Could not connect to Cyrus IMAP server
'imaps://localhost:993'

When I check
service cyrus-imapd status
this resluts in
cyrus-master not running

So I do
service cyrus-imapd start

but it doesnt start and syslog shows

Oct 18 18:11:26 MS03 ctl_cyrusdb[10580]: skiplist: clean shutdown file
missing, updating recovery stamp
Oct 18 18:11:26 MS03 ctl_cyrusdb[10580]: recovering cyrus databases
Oct 18 18:11:26 MS03 master[10579]: process type:START name:recover
path:/usr/lib/cyrus-imapd/ctl_cyrusdb age:0.000s pid:10580 signaled to

Oct 18 18:11:26 MS03 master[10579]: can't run startup
Oct 18 18:11:26 MS03 master[10579]: exiting

I've found this:
http://serverfault.com/questions/378244/after-running-out-of-disk-space-cyrus-imapd-fails-for-only-one-single-user

But it doesn't help me much.
I'm not sure how to increase logging.
And am not sure where the mail data or .db files are found.

I have a backup of the server, but it seems to be corrupted.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Erik
