Server side email event notifications for caldav calendar clients

Does Kolab support server side generated (and received) event 
notifications for calendars?

CalDav clients will fall back to generating email notifications for 
event attendees locally if server side generation is not available, but 
some clients (MacOS iCalendar particularly) do not handle this well
