Email Disappeared from the Inbox

Hi,
got an real urgent problem with my kolab installation.
All Emails disappeared from my boss email account.
But only those on the inbox.
I can see them in the filesystem, but I can’t see them in either the imap client, webmail client nor his iPhone.
don’t know what happened.
They just simply disappeared.
