Kolab 3.1 - cannot create filter rules

Hi,

Running Kolab 3.1 on CentOS 6.5 for a couple of month now, i recently 
discovered the following problem:

Whenever I create in an Email-Filter rule in roundcubemail, as soon as I 
want to save the rule I receive the error "Cannot connect to database".

I examined many logs but I cannot find any errors related to it. Can 
somebody please point me into a direction where the problem might be?
