In activesync the body of replied/forwarded message is appended by the
server. There's parsing of original and sent message involved. SO, there
might be a bug in kolab-syncroton.

There are debugging options (e.g. activesync_debug) in kolab-syncroton
which allow you to track activesync protocol.
