Disable a User / Remove from Global Address Book

Hello list,

how can I (temporarily) disable a user?
how can I prevent to have this user appearing in global address book (as an
employee is no longer in company and MUST not receive mails (therefore
address extension in roundcube's fuzzy search is not useable to print this
user)?
