2.5 is still beta. Kolab is using a beta version of Cyrus imapd and one of the Kolab developers seems to be also a Cyrus developer. 
Cyrus imapd 2.5 is in the kolab repositories (i386/amd64 binary and sources) and cyrusimap.org git repositories (sources).
