How to install a working Kolab 3.2 server?

Second attempt - this time we used Kolab 3.1 instead of Kolab 3.2. With the 
exception of a typo during installation and having to change some settings 
with regard to certificates, 3.1 worked out of the box without much further 
ado.

We're now trying to get Kontact 4.12.3 working with the server, which seems to 
present another set of headaches.
