Slow Loading in Roundcube

I also have this issue with folders with more then > 5000 mails.
I have replicated the mailbox to a dovecot server and here it takes 1-2 
secs to display the content of the folder.
Specs:

OS: Centos 6.5
CPU: 2x model name      : AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+
RAM: 8 GB
              total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached
Mem:          7967       7693        273          0        441       6120
-/+ buffers/cache:       1131       6836
Swap:         8191         58       8133
