Kolab 3 habits...

Congrats to your migration.

Additionally to the already named ones (thunderbird, iphone, ipad,
roundcube). I can throw in eM Client or the Kolab Kontact E5 (beta)
Client. But on windows the later one feels a bit misplaced and old
fashioned, but it talks native kolab3.

Regard thunderbird I'm not very happy anymore. Since they change the
release cycle thunderbird came basically to a halt imo. And the way how
caldav and carddav got implemented (or not via plugins) wasn't stable to
my likings. Maybe this has changed in the meantime.

If you don't rely on open source for your windows desktop clients (whch
you don't if you use iphone, outlook, etc) I can suggest taking a look
at emclient. It's (windows) client with imap and more important native
carddav, caldav support right out of the box (free up to 2 email
accounts). I personally could drag and drop contacts from an google
account into a carddav account to migrate family and friends accounts
that have been using google before I offered them kolab.

Outlook 2013 has native support for EWS (exchange web services aka
ActiveSync). So if you've a recent version of outlook you should/might
be able to connect it directly. But that's a different story.

Regarding Notes, Journal, Tasks: No clue how this can be done. I
personally haven't looked into ActiveSync yet. Sadly there's nothing
like TaskDAV or NotesDAV to complete a set of standards for clients to
sync to yet.
