Thanks for telling, obviously this note escaped my eyes.

But alas, I'm still lost. Neither using my primary mailadress nor my
username or domain.tld\username as identifier worked out :-( Tried both
using the account assistant from Android as well as surfing to
https://domain.tld/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync - both possibilities
complained about wrong credentials :-( 

Any ideas? 

I respect your position, Professor. I just don't share it.
