Hi all,
first thanks to all who help debugging here on the list or in irc. It's really
great: for every question somebody has an hint. A big compliment espacially to
the developers.
Today I got the problem that postfix didn't send. It failed with 4.3.5. and in
the mail.log only:
Nov 19 15:01:03 mail postfix/submission/smtpd[3156]: BFBE33C1E6: reject: DATA
from localhost[127.0.0.1]: 451 4.3.5 Server configuration problem; from=<....>
to=<...> proto=ESMTP helo=<95.129.000.001>
Enabling debugging in /etc/postfix/master.cf [1] gave me:
mail postfix/submission/smtpd[4866]: input attribute name: 2013-11-19
16:55:36,776 pykolab.conf ERROR Configuration file /etc/kolab/kolab.conf not
readable.
the kolab.conf has had rights 640
Just for trying I set it to 644 and: sending succeeded!!!
This is of course a bad idea to make this file world readable. Any idea?
Maybe I should mention that my installation is on two servers. One for ldap
and kolab-webadmin, one for mta, imap, roundcube.
Regards
Jan
[1] thanks to jmeeuwen for finding out where to enable debugging option: (for
anybody looking at this): master.cf : eg:
recipient_policy unix - n n - - spawn
user=kolab-n argv=/usr/lib/postfix/kolab_smtp_access_policy --verify-
recipient -d 8
