Kolab 3.1 Active Sync Problems with Nokia N8

Hi,
I've got a freshly installed Kolab 3.1 on CentOS 6.4 with all updates so far.
I try to do EAS with a Nokia N8 and the built in Mail for Exchange app.
Basically, it does not work. Sometimes it does sync a little, e.g. contacts, tasks, calendar get synced or some new mail give the buzz on the mobile or I can send mails, but there are no mails in the Inbox and mostly I get a "connect error, retry later" message on the mobile.
To prune some possible eror sources my tests took place via WLAN (mobile in the same network as server) and without "Secure Connection".
In Roundcube I selected options to only sync one calendar and address book.

What irritates me is the "A0003 NO Only one Id allowed in non-authenticated state" message, which shows up mostly, but not always. I don't know if this means anything, but for exmple at the moment I get
[16-Nov-2013 17:49:42,000000 +0100]: [E485] S: A0003 OK Completed

On my mobile I find logged by Mail for Exchange:

This "HTTP Server Error 501: Not Implemented" message is most disturbing, as nothing gets logged in httpd/error, kolab-syncroton/error, so I don't have a clue where to look for it.

At other times the log looks like this, but also no mails show up:
14/11/2013 16:59:17 Connected to connection method named YYYY with type WLAN

14/11/2013 18:37:02 clearing device entries for resync
14/11/2013 18:37:02 start Calendar sync

It would be great if somebody could help me with this.
Thanks in advance,
Thomas
