When will the multi-domain mess get fixed?

Hi,

 

since nobody provided an answer to my previous question on how to add
domains to a Kolab 3 installation, I guess the way that is described in the
documentation system is the official/correct way and not a bad joke. Now, is
there any planning on fixing that and providing a working/useable solution
for this task?
