Hi,

I think I have responded to your issue before, but maybe I have not.

Your shared folder, on a default Kolab deployment, should be created as 
shared/folder at domain, not shared.folder at domain.

Please see if creating a folder "shared/folder at domain" does allow 
user at domain to select that folder, while please also ensuring that 
user at domain has the rights to lookup and select the folder:

   $ kolab sam shared/folder at domain anyone lrs

or:

   $ kolab sam shared/folder at domain user at domain lrs
