Syncronization with existing roundcube (mysql) addressbooks with kolab-syncroton

kolab-syncroton don't depends of user database backend.
But your IMAP server must support metadata in order to store contacts and 
calendar.
So i think dovecot with annotation plugin should work, but I never tried.
