Whatever way tickles your fancy, really, I just need whatever to do as I
expect, the commands I'm giving as the explanation are advisory aids more than
anything else.

The installation is fine, it's the configuration stage where issues have
arisen.
For the kolab-webadmin to succeed (and give you an "Add user" link), I think
only LDAP has to have been setup correctly, which it has or you wouldn't be
able to login at all, let alone get an Add User link.
There is an intermediate stage where we set the ACLs on the root dn, but such
still would not, regardless of whatever circumstance, prevent the uber-uber-
adminstrator (cn=Directory Manager), from getting the necessary actual
effective rights on whatever entry.
