When doing this, I get 
cat: /etc/kolab/kolab.conf: Permission denied

How can I fix that? Add apache to kolab group? Like this?

add apache kolab

Nope, I get this... kolab:x:412:kolab-n

Correct, heres mine 
-rw-r-----. 1 kolab-n kolab 3271 May 10 18:11 kolab.conf
