thanks a lot. however, isnt this just to query the users on the server? As far 
as I understand it, the per user contacts are stored in x-kolab-something imap 
files under the /kolab/var/impad/spool/domain/*/user/*/Contacts/ directory.

Anyway, I encountered some other shortcomings which made it unsuitable for my 
needs (and, quite irritating, it was slower than kmail).
