Horde seems to have cached deleted contacts... how can I clear them?

Hello everybody!

This is my first post to the Kolab mailing list, so first off... it's nice
to be here, and it's great to be using Kolab in place of Microsoft Exchange!
:)

I have just rolled out my second Kolab install, and it's a v2.3.4
installation.

Everything was working quite happily until one iPhone4S user reported all
their contacts had disappeared. I think this was caused by the importing of
a CSV file where one address contained an umlaut, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, what has happened is that whilst Horde says there are still 200+
contacts in a particular address book, when I check the corresponding IMAP
folder there are no entries.

So the problem is not that the contacts have disappeared from the iPhone,
it's that the contacts are still displayed in Horde when they no longer
exist!

I cannot delete the contacts (I receive SQL errors in the logs and they
remain), and I cannot delete the Contacts address book itself as it's the
user's primary address book. If I re-import the contacts it just skips over
them as it thinks they are already there, and I've run of ways to try and
remove them!

I tried disabling Horde caching within imp/config/php.conf, but that did not
help.

Is there any way I can re-sync Horde so that I realises there aren't any
addresses in the contacts list?!

Or is there a way of deleting a primary user's contacts list?

Many thanks for any help.

Regards,

Greg Conway.
