Z-Push: Calendar works, but failing to successfully syncronize contacts

Hello,

Z-Push on kolab is driving me crazy. I don't seem to be able to use it to
sync my carefully curated addressbook from my longstanding (and up to date)
kolab installation to my Nokia N9, no matter what I do (this is a new
attempt to get to the bottom of this - there are other attempts in the
history of the mailing list).

I have come to suspect that my LONG and convoluted directory structure may
be at the root of my problems to sync. I have my N9 set to only sync
contacts and calendars and in the kolab-management interface all (of the
many) mail folders are de-selected. However, in the z-push debug output I
can see the processes touch the mail-only folders and my hypothesis is that
given the folder structure this takes so long that more often than not the
actual (shared) contact folder I absolutely need to syncronized is never
reached as wireless time outs/instability etc. will eventually interfere.
The calendar folder may be earlier in the hierarchy (as it is not shared and
thus resides below "inbox") and sync more reliably.

Is this a viable scenario and if yes, how might I remedy it?

Sincerely, Joh
