z-push problem with nexus android client

Hi, I'm having a z-push sync problem involving a "nexus s" smartphone running
android.  Basically, the client does a LOT of IMAP connections per minute,
resulting in the apache kolab process using all avaiable CPU resources.

Anyone else has experience with this kind of client?
