Problem with delivery to shared folders.

Made some progress
I did a fresh install and verified that could email to  uid+subfolder did work.

Was comparing the upgraded installation to a clean install and noticed that 
PEAR-PHPUnit-Channel  rpm was installed on the upgraded installation but not 
the clean install. 
I removed PEAR-PHPUnit-Channel.

Now email to johnm+spam at advocap.org works.
kolab+shared.zzz at advocap.org  still fails but have not worked on that much.
