Log file modification

Howdy all,

Where would I look if I want to keep longer log files?  Also, where do
I adjust the verbosity?

I just went to try and track a message, and it seems my oldes
imapd.log(.9.bz2) only goes back to 6/1, so ideally, I would like to
make them keep records... maybe a month, if it's a size thing, I can
just mess with that, doesn't have to be perfect...

If there's no way to do that, I could try to just keep my own log
backups, but it just seems a bit unnecessary...
