Authentication issue

Hello,

I am having an interesting authentication issue with a fresh debian kolab 
install. 

The install has 4 users. The first two users can login without problems. The 
second two can not. In troubleshooting this issue. I have narrowed it down to 
just the Cyrus portion. 

Here are the things that work:
testsaslauthd -u USER -p PASS
ldapsearch  localhost -D "DN" -w PASS

This does not work:
imtest -a USER -w PASS
imtest -a USER -w PASS -t ""
pop3test -a USER -w PASS -s

PASS is the same in all instances as is USER.

I am a little baffled since some users work and some don't.

Anyone have any thoughts?
