very slow syncml in v2.2.4?

Hi,

my boss has 2300 contacts and is using Funambol with Outlook to sync them
to his Kolab contacts.  This was working fine last week.

I upgraded from v2.2.3 to v2.2.4 the other day and am testing it now, his
contact syncing is taking an incredibly long time to run (on contact 800 of
2300 after about 14 minutes).  I can see apache processes taking near to
90% CPU all the while.

Was this code changed in v2.2.4?  Is there an easy way to see what patches
were applied in the transition from v2.2.3 to v2.2.4?  I guess CVS is the
obvious answer, but if someone could advise me where in there to look that
would be great.
