Kolab authencation with Novell through Radius

I don't think this will be possible out of the box. Is it sufficient  
if the IMAP server supports the authentication via Radius? That should  
be possible via SASL. Maybe it would also be possible to relay the  
LDAP authentication via SASL to Radius but that will probably be  
harder to set up.
