Compile of 2.2.0 on FC9 fails

Ah!  Yes, FC9 comes with gcc 4.3.0...

Unfortunately *not* in the readme.1st of 2.2.0, only in the one of  
2.2.1rc1... ;-)  Maybe it's still worth to add it to the 2.2.0 file,  
even if 2.2.1 will be released soon (I hope)?
