gmp compilation error on amd64

Again no luck with the installation but now on debian etch. After about two 
hours the compilation process fails at gmp. See the log below. This problem 
is the same as issue 2928 and there is the mentioning of a patch which i 
believe is the same as in a mail from Thomas see the link 
http://kolab.org/pipermail/kolab-commits/2008q3/008490.KHTML
But could someone tell me how to implement this patch. Can' t find it in the 
wiki
