HORDE and master/slave configuration -- was 2 kolab-server on one storage

I looks like you are lost and are trying about anything.
If I had to break down my user over multiple server, I would use the
kolab's master/slave architecture,
meaning each server use its on dedicated storage space.
It looks like horde is still not able to redirect you to the good
server, but you can tell
each user which server it must use !
