I had similiar problems in the beginning. Check if the /etc/hosts has an 
entry for the DNS to IP lookup:
kolab.myserver.com      192.168.0.0 //example IP change to your IP!
After that, the horde interface should appear. Which login server 
information do you use for Kontact? IP or DNS. If DNS you probably have 
to change to IP or add the same entry as above to the /etc/hosts of the 
client PC.
All of this is probably unnecessary, if you have added the information 
to your/an DNS Server.
