Can"t connect to new install (2.2-rc3)

Hi,

On a fresh openpkg install I created a user with which I am:
- able to connect to the administrative interface
- unable to log into horde
- unable to get a connection to kolab from kontact

Slapcat looks ok (see below). The firewall (shorewall) has ports https,smtp/s,
imap/s,ldap/s and sieve open - even a total opening doesn't change the
situation. The errors I see are these:

Can anyone point out what I may try as a remedy? I have played around to no end
with the login user name (given that the "dn" below reads "Johannes Graumann",
rather than "johannes.graumann" as in the "uid") and tried about any permutation
in authentication mechanism from inside kolab ... can't figure it out.
