Can't build 2.2-rc3 - fails tar 1.19 from openpkg

Hello,

I tried to send this earlier, but the attached install log was too big ...
I'm trying to build a pristine 2.2-rc3 from scratch. All md5sums pass, but if I
call the installation script as advised by the readme, it breaks while
processing tar 1.19 with the error below. Did anybody ever run into this? Fixes?
