Subject: Creating/deleting folders stopped working
Date: Thu, 18 Dec 2008 10:12:58 -0500
To: kolab-users at kolab.org
From: vladislav.tchernev at broadsign.com

Hi all,
Since recently, I am having a weird problem. When I create a new user via the
web GIU, kolab reports that the operation is successfull but it doesn't
create a mailbox for the new user. When I try to delete the newly created
user the the process hags showing "User Deleted, awaiting cleanup..." in the
web interface. If I try to create an imap folder manually via cyradm it's
working. Trying to delete the same folder via the kolab GUI still fails. So
for some reason kolab is not able to perform any disk related operations. The
permitions for /kolab/var/imapd/spool/domain/****/user/ looks right.
Any ideas?

Regrads
Vlad

Hi,

Is SyncML known to work under 2.2.1b1? If so, what are the needed
infos to make it work?

Thanks,

You can do this via the Kolab web client. The URLs look like this:

https://example.com/client/rpc.php/kronolith/wrobel@example.com/wrobel@example.com.ics

for a default Calendar and like this

https://example.com/client/rpc.php/kronolith/wrobel@example.com/Kalender.ics

for other calendars.

Cheers,

Gunnar

Hi Gunnar !

I can't connect some calendars with this way under Thunderbird + lighting. It's not working.. :'

It works, yes. Probably not with each and every possible device but
that is a problem of SyncML itself not so much of the implementation.

For infos see:

Sounds like the kolabd process broke down. Try to restart it with:

/kolab/bin/openpkg rc kolabd restart
