If you mean the default calender folder, you are right.
The entry will be in a non-default calender folder.

It is correct that non-default calender folders are somewhat second class
calender folders in Outlook 2003. I had hoped that would be synced, though.
Any experiences with Outlook 2007?

It is partly implemented in 2.2-rc2. As rc3 is around the corner I do not
think patching is worth the effort.
