Rebuilding shared folder?

We had a large number of emails in a shared folder (57k+) that caused problems 
so we manually deleted the contents of the folder and are getting resource 
status errors in kontact. How do we issue the command to rebuild the indexes 
from cyrus? (if indeed thats the right thing to do!)

We have tried using the cyr reconstruct command but it seems to require a user 
account, so targeting shared folders wont work.

Any help would be great!
