RT plugin for Kolab

Greetings,

I'm just wondering if it would be too complicated to create a plugin that 
would generate email in Kolab format for Calendar and Tasks, coming from RT 
(Request Tracker) when there's a new request/update etc.
RT is written in Perl, easily customizable, and that could make such a great 
integration.
I already use Kolab's LDAP to authenticate users against RT.
Does anyone in here uses RT?
Any one interested in such a thing?
