shard folder issues

Hi all,

I have some problems with the shared calendar feature that kolab uses:

We have a "shared calendar" which is a calendar folder that everybody
can use. It's configured that everybody (who has an account on the
kolab server) has every right on it, there are no restrictions.

The first issue we have is that suddenly it disappears from the
calendar resources in kontact. After looking closer I saw that kmail
suddenly didn't recognize anymore that it contains calendar
information. A right click on this folder, choosing "Properties" and
then "Calendar" under "Folder contents" fixed the issue.

However this appeared suddenly and I don't know why. I guess this is a
bug in kmail, but i'm not sure how to report it, since I don't have
any idea why this happens, so i'm looking for suggestions to
track/reproduce this issue.


Another problem is that if you want to move a calendar entry, which
was made by another person you get the following error message:

"You are not the organizer of this event. Editing it will bring your
calendar out of sync with the organizers calendar. Do you really want
to edit it?"

I think it's also necessary to invent some people under "Attendees" to
get this error message, but I'm not sure.

However, when I use do "check mail" on the kolab server and then check
it again, then the changes are made everywhere, therefore this error
message does not make any sense to me.
